Inspectahire recently worked on a project with Decom Engineering to test out their C1 Chop Saws. Using our Thermographic Monitoring services, Decom Engineering were able to test the Chop Saw, cutting 4” pipe in test conditions safely and efficiently.
The purpose of the test was to measure the maximum temperatures at various points on the cutting surface during various cutting speeds.
At all stages throughout the cuts, the maximum temperature remained significantly under spark/ flame ignition temperature, corroborating our cold cutting assurances.
