Pipework provides the arteries of any plant or vessel and our Remote Visual inspection services utilsiing a vast range of endoscopes, borescopes, CCTV and all the different methods of deploying are utilised in the sea, in air or in the ground to ascertain the condition of these subjects.

Reservoirs provide an interesting inspection challenge and we recently carried out a survey of above the water with our UAV and then did the in water to reservoir bottom with our ROV. This is typical of the requirements and we have also used our RVI technology to surveys the ducts and pies within reservoir walls as well as providing CCTV surveys of the spill ways and feed pipes etc.

Like tank inspections, we have the capability to inspect vessels both off and on line. Often the decision on how the inspection is performed comes down to working with our clients to understand the product or process being undertaken and then deciding what is a viable inspection method.

Ultrasonic Testing is an NDT Service provided by Inspectahire across the UK. Ultrasonic Testing uses sound waves of short wavelength and high frequency to detect flaws or measure material thickness. Such mechanical waves can travel large distances in fine grain metal, in the form of a divergent wave with progressive attenuation.
