Many chemical compounds and gases are invisible to the naked eye. Yet many companies work intensively with these substances before, during and after their production processes.

The FLIR GF-Series are infrared cameras are able to visualise gas by utilising the physics of fugitive gas leaks. The camera produces a full picture of the scanned area and leaks appear as smoke on the camera’s viewfinder or LCD, allowing the user to see fugitive gas emissions. The image is viewed in real time and can be recorded in the camera for easy dissemination of findings.

The FLIR GF range provides infrared cameras used for gas leak detection.

Used for identifying Hydrocarbons, the FLIR GFx320 can detect a range of gases such as Benzene, Ethanol, Ethylbenzene, Heptane, Hexane, Methanol and many more.

Used for identifying SF6 and Ammonia, the FLIR GF306 can detect Ethylene, Furan, Hydrazine, Methylsilane, Propenal, Acetic Acid, and many more.

Qualified Tank Inspectors

Storage tanks come in all shapes and sizes and contain solids, liquids and gases, so all pose inspection challenges. Our EMMUA159 qualified tank inspectors guide clients and our teams as to the requirements of the inspection standard and what can be done to ensure compliance.

We can provide a full suite of technologies, from floor scanners, UT, tanks robots, laser scanning and where tanks are fluid filled, we deploy ROV's and sonar to perform practical surveys. We have also specialised in bespoke services for tank owners such as being able to investigate and replace the base heating systems of LNG tanks whilst they remain operational.

With expertise in Hazardous Area Inspections, we have a range of technology and instruments which allow you to see the invisible.

Inspectahire will be exhibiting at this years World Biogas Summit from 29-30 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. Our team will be on hand to answer your questions and will be showcasing some of our best equipment, ready to show you what we can do to help you inspect your sites safely and efficiently.
