The Sky Eye OGI “Optical Gas Imaging” UAV is customised and approved to carry the Flir gas imaging G300a camera, a world leading technology that can visualize and pinpoint gas leaks that are invisible to the human eye.

The Sky Eye UAV is designed to take advantage of the unique Flir G300a camera capabilities. In only a matter of minutes you can mount the camera as the machine is prepared with the right connectors for power, video and data connectivity.

With an optical gas imaging camera it is easy to continuously scan installations that are in remote areas or in zones that are hazardous, difficult or dangerous to access. OGI cameras like the FLIR G300 a can detect harmful VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) that can seriously harm the environment. Detectable gases Benzene, Ethanol, Ethyl benzene, Heptane, Hexane, Isoprene, Methanol, MEK, MIBK, Octane, Pentane, 1-Pentene, Toluene, m-xylene, Butane, Methane, Propane, Ethylene and Propylene.

The Sky Eye OGI “Optical Gas Imaging” UAV is equipped with an powerful onboard computer. To control the cameras functions we have combined software and hardware in a way that is unique to Sky Eye Innovations. This technology allows you to control the cameras functions without relying on infrastructure like 3/4G or Wi-Fi connectivity. Instead you control the camera functions via the UAV operators radio control.The radiometric data stream is recorded on the hard drive in the onboard computer and you can easily access the data for post flight analysis.
